Vela Era Digital Apps LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is an Iowa-based limited liability company that develops and publishes mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our apps, including DesiFlix - OTT Guide and Vaanilai - Live Weather (collectively, "our Apps"). By downloading or using any of our Apps, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Our Apps are designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as: • Your name, email address, or phone number • Your location data • Your device identifiers or advertising IDs • Your browsing history or usage patterns • Any financial or payment information All user preferences, watchlists, and reminders are stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Our Apps may use the following third-party services to provide core functionality: The Movie Database (TMDB): DesiFlix uses the TMDB API to fetch movie and TV show information, including titles, descriptions, poster images, and streaming availability. TMDB's privacy policy is available at https://www.themoviedb.org/privacy-policy. We do not send any personal information to TMDB. Open-Meteo / Weather APIs: Vaanilai uses public weather APIs to fetch real-time weather data based on your selected city. No personal location data is stored or transmitted beyond the city name you choose. Expo / React Native: Our Apps are built using Expo and React Native. Standard crash reporting and diagnostic data may be collected by these platforms in accordance with their respective privacy policies. This data is anonymized and used solely to improve app stability.

DesiFlix offers optional push notifications for OTT release reminders. If you enable notifications, your device's push notification token is used solely to deliver reminders you have explicitly set. We do not use notification tokens for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than delivering your requested reminders. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings app.

Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete such information.

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is minimal risk of a data breach affecting your personal information. All data you store within our Apps (watchlists, preferences, reminders) remains on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features. Network communications between our Apps and third-party APIs are conducted over HTTPS (TLS encryption) to protect data in transit.

Since we do not collect personal data, there is generally no personal data to access, correct, or delete. However, you may: • Clear all locally stored app data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data through your device's Settings. • Disable push notifications through your device's Settings at any time. • Contact us with any privacy-related questions or concerns.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Apps or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of our Apps after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
